Yelp Paris Elite Se Met à la Sauce Bollywood Au Tiffin

 

Mardi soir au 42 rue de Charonne, ça sentait bon le curry, la chapati fraîchement préparée et la coriandre... C’est au nouveau hotspot indien Le Tiffin, que la Brigade d’Elite Parisienne s’est retrouvée de 19h30 à 21h30 pour déguster les kati rolls et autres petites merveilles indiennes préparées par la joyeuse équipe qui officie derrière les fourneaux. Laurence A a succombé ni une ni deux “aux boulettes de lentilles parfumées. Une soirée vraiment “wow” “pour la demoiselle !

Comme d’habitude, la cinquantaine d’invités affamés ne se s’est pas fait prier pour tremper, saucer, avaler et humer les dips indiens disposés sur les table en bois et servis avec des naans encore chaudes. Dans le décor rock et urbain de la petit salle du Tiffin, les nouveaux visages de la Brigade d’Elite ont fait leur 1ère apparition à une soirée Yelp. Et l’ambiance était enjouée et épicée! Même le soleil était au rendez vous pour faire de la soirée “un très bon moment passé avec les Yelpers, comme d’habitude”. Ludivine L commence à connaître les soirée Yelp !
Loulou B est même repartie avec son truc et astuce sur “la manière de manger son Kati Roll sans en renverser partout”... On aime !

On Tueday night the Paris elite squad squeezed into Le Tiffin, a new idie Indian hotspot in the Bastille for an evening full of freshly made delicacies. In addition to the handmade chapati and nan served with three different types of dips, yelpers tasted spicy vegetable fritters and seasoned sandwiches courtesy of the friendly staff behind the open kitchen. Among the 50 plus guests who spilled out onto the street of this pint-size restaurant, Laurence A went wild for the “fragrant lentil fritters,” and the “wow” factor of the surprising, savory treats. 

The rock n’roll decor of the restaurant with its DIY fresco of musical greats (was that Kurt Cobain on a mountain top next to Lou Reed?) was the perfect backdrop for new and seasoned members of the elite squad to mingle and meet. Even the sun decided to show up for the event, setting the perfect relaxed late spring tone for Ludivine L who  “spent a wonderful evening with the yelpers, as usual” on the terrace outside of the restaurant as the sun set. 

We love the fact that Loulou B became an instant expert on the art “of eating a Kati roll without spilling it all over yourself.”
