Hot And Bothered At The Ember Room

There's a rumor out there that fire and water supposedly don't go together. But leave it to yelpers to defy elemental rules... Yes, last night we had one heck of a hot Elite Event at the Ember Room as rain raged on the streets of NYC.

While the DJ put a record on, the drinks started flowing fast with VeeV Acaí Vodka Superfruit Sangria and Acaí Mojitos. For those looking to swing a little less sweetly, bartenders popped Beerlao like we were loungin' on a Laotian vacation.

Enjoying the gorgeous natural design elements of this contemporary Asian-inspired Hells Kitchen hot spot, Yelp Elites also tasted small bites from the menu designed by celebrated chefs Todd English and Ian Chalermkittichai. We saw Thai pastrami meatballs, Vegetable Spring Rolls, Scallop Ceviche, Chicken Lollipops, Mango Sticky Rice, Chocolate Covered Strawberries and many other mini-munchies!
