I used to be a writer for Flavorpill back in the day and remain a big fan, so I was
thrilled and intrigued by this hyperlocal mash-up contest they have going on (and that I'm one of the judges for!). It's about showcasing your neighborhood, using anything from Google Maps to Twitter, and of course Yelp, and bringing it together with FP's own event feed. We're always excited to see how people utilize our API, so if you have some ideas of your own, it's time to get busy!
