NYC Elites Celebrate YelptoberFest at Heartland Brewery!

Just when you thought the beer guzzling, brat munching holiday known as Oktoberfest had finally concluded, Yelp New York brings us the most dastardly indulgent holiday of all: YelptoberFest! That's right, Yelp Elites from boroughs near and far gathered at the flagship location of Heartland Brewery at the Empire State Building.

Once shuttled in out of the cold, Elites warmed up to taps pouring the finest beer NYC has to offer with four signature brews: Heartland Oktoberfest Ale, Smiling Pumpkin Ale, Empire Premium Pilsner and Heartland Heffeweizen along with any other brew a yelper's heart may desire. If quality ale wasn't enough, an array of wines by the glass and a seriously delicious Snake Oil Milkshake (Jagermeister and Vanilla anyone?) quenched the thirst of a couple hundred Elites - which is no small accomplishment!

To soak up all these harvest libations, the ever gracious Heartland staff passed platters of Southern Fried pickles, mini Kobe burgers, tuna tartar and soft pretzels to the delight of many a yelper. As Oriana J says, "OM-NOM-NOMed." When they weren't listening to the Oom-pah sounds of the live German Jazz Band, yelpers like Lora C and Ryan M dove right into the Sausage and Saurkraut bar in the back room. And hopefully everyone indulged in their just desserts with Landrin Chocolates sprinkled throughout the venue and at the special Two Little Red Hens treat table. That ooey gooey pumpkin cheesecake and the tiny chocolate truffle raspberry cupcake had Yvonne W "feeling like a total glutton, but it was so worth it."

If that wasn't enough, be sure to check out all the fun photos right here! If you were there, leave your review of the event here and check out what they're saying on talk here.

Now only one question remains: when is Heartland going to brew us that special "Sweet On Yelp Elite Ale" we've all been dying for?
