Yelp's First Ever Listening Party
Last night, 
a select few Yelp Eliters (Laura B, Omar B, Drue C and Maria D, to drop some names) had the chance to listen to Rufus Wainwright's new Release The Stars album in its entirety, before the "official release" on May 15th. What's more, yelpers and their guests were treated to advanced copies of the album (with autographed cd booklets), and Lauren S was lucky enough to even leave with a signed and framed Rufus print!
The listening party took place at Otis, which turned out to be the perfect location for enjoying the soulful crooning of Mr. Wainwright within a stylishly intimate atmosphere. It didn't hurt that owner Damon White announced an open bar for the event, either! Oh, and let's not forget the piping hot pizza that our friends at Patxi's dropped off...
All in all, Rufus W would have been proud, as the stars were indeed released last night!
