Introducing the Yelp Apparel Line

Storeteaser_2 You heard us right, kids... The Yelp Apparel Store is live and operators are standing by to take your order, figuratively speaking, of course.

Fashion sensibilities and Yelp seem to go hand in hand, so here we find ourselves, branching out with an apparel line that reflects our yelpers' very active and social lifestyles.

The store is stocked with limited edition designs of the 'S.Y.O.Y.' t- shirts for men and women, 'I Heart Yelp' tank tops, and 'Make Me Yelp' hot shorts exclusively for our lovely lady yelpers.

Make sure visit the online store often, as plans for the introduction of Yelp varsity sweaters, thermals, hand muffs, sweatbands, protective bus pass and smartphone cases - not to mention a potential his/hers fragrance line - are on the way.

Yelptoberfest Hits LA!

Posted by stephystacks

Yelptoberfest_006Free-flowin' German brews, gigantic saaaauusage platters, official LA Yelp Mascot David Hasselhoff (He's big in Germany, ya know) AND more J├Ąger shots than any one group of yelpers should ever consume in one sitting...

YES, Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren, what you had last night was YELPTOBERFEST at The Red Lion Tavern in Silverlake and my oh my, Es ist zum Schreien (I think that means it was a scream)!

Yelptoberfest_142Held at one of the oldest German pubs in all of LALALand, Yelp's Elite took over the second floor of this Pubtastic joint and many a laugh, chug and hoot hollerin' good time was had! The usual suspects made it out and as always, entertained the group with their hysterical yelpy antics. Of course these included everyone's favorite funny men, Jehan M., Darren Y. and Antonio A., along with sassypants Tristen P., LA Intern Extraordinaire Jane S. and of course SF transplant Jonathan S. Newcomers Albert O., Mike L., Alli J., Myles R., and Alex K. and Rochelle H. made it out as well to help us party it up Yelp style!Yelptoberfest_069

Of course none of this would have been possible without the help of LA Yelp's new best friends and Red Lion managers, Chaz and Mark! We'd also like to thank the lovely Mz. Tina who kept those beers and shots chilled and comin' strong all night long.

Here's the rest of the YELPTOBERFEST evidence and for those of you who haven't written up a storm and been asked to join the Elite Squad yet, keep on keepin on as your day will come soon :)

Until then, be sure to check out The Red Lion one of these nights and tell 'em Yelp sent you! SYOY!

NYC Elite Sushi it up on a Sunday

Posted by Sam Perwin

Img_0624 Oh. My. Edamame.  The New York Elite gave new meaning to the phrase "sunday best" this time, coming out in droves and in style (natch) for Yelp NYC's hottest event yet!  Haru Grammercy Park, our outstanding hosts, served up japanese delights and mixed up delicious cocktails courtesy of Wasabe Vodka (can you say Lychee Saketini?  I can...) which our squad downed without a moment's hesitation (also natch).

Some notable appearances included Yelp's favorite bass player Steve M, comedian extraodinaire Ben W, and fellow HK Yelper Jason C all in their first NYYES event; the ever-increasingly fabulous (how DOES she do it?) Mariana L rolling up with her hubby on a motorcyle; and the return of Yelp's most awesome roommates, Tina S and Gabby D who had been too long absent from the Elite's loving embrace.

Img_0608There were so many new t-shirts (why there's a handsome devil sporting one right there...) and new Yelpers about, you almost forgot the next day was Monday...

Check out the rest of the pics and feel the love!  Elite squad, you never cease to amaze me.

Yours in Yelpiness,
~Sam P.
