The First Official LA Yelp Elite Party :: Tiny's KO :: July 20, 2006

Posted by stephystacks

My oh my what a FAB-U-LOUS kick off to the LA Yelp Invasion this little soiree was!

Jaychan_sam_y_and_gang_flickrHosted by the coolest new little Hollywood hole in the wall bar Tiny's KO, co-owners Steve K. and Steve C. certainly took care of us with a YUMMY array of fantastic food and nibblies. Highlights included their deelish chips and salsa, hummus and pita bread, fries with three, count them three different dipping sauces and of course the INFAMOUS Tiny's KO Burger!

Just check out the awesome reviews to see what we mean!

Then there were the refreshing beers for this oh so hot LA night compliments of our friends at Newcastle and of course let's not forget those glowing Southern Comfort concoctions and all of the Jack Daniel's drinks and shots.

Hope you all survived the hangovers ;)

And then there were the real stars of the show and that was all of you fantastical Yelpers who made it out to enjoy the party. I have to say as the Community Manager for LA , you are making my job sooo fun and I'm really stoked to be getting to know such a fine group of folks! (Wait, folks? Who says folks anymore?)

Anyhoo, check out some of the blackmail, oh I mean, photos that captured the spirit of the night! CLICK ME FOR GOOD TIMES. Also thanks to Elite's Hope E. for her pics of the event!

Look forward to seeing you all at the next event in August!

Until then keep yelpin' it up and if you haven't had a chance to review Tiny's KO, please give them a shout as we couldn't have done this event without 'em!

Stay cool and SYOY,

Tea and Spice and Everything Nice at Poleng

Posted by Jessica T

Poleng3 Talk about hot! And no we're not talking about the steamy dance floor - but rather the great Yelp turnout at Poleng Lounge this Wednesday.  Yelpers were in full force, old and new, at one of our first late night events....and many kept the party going well after 11:00 pm.  Some of the Yelpers that made it out were: Cassio P., Liza P.  Stacy L.  Srinivas R. and Vanessa G.   Distillery 209 supplied the ammunition for all the great photographic moments (ah yes....we all have a few!) with some killer gin and tonics, while Poleng warmed up the front dining area with tea tastings and complimentary appetizers. Yum!  The night only got  hotter as Yelpers started busting out the risky dance moves, posing for wind-tunnel model shots, and throwing back birthday shots . Thanks again to everyone that was able to make it out and for those that weren't, hopefully we'll see you at our next event!
